Hi,
I have loaded and reloaded Vista on my Dell Inspiron laptop. I have configured and used together and separately both the wired and wireless connections to my Linksys router.
When I try to connect to some websites (http://hosting.viux.com/), in this case the web hosting provider I am using, the page pulls up very slow or not at all. Similarly, when I try to syncronize Microsoft Mail or Outlook 2003 with my mail server it times out. Interestingly enough, I can go to another of my computers running Windows XP and try the same thing with no delay whatsoever.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Is it slow if you try to connect to http://hosting.viux.com/ using Windows Vista? I am guessing this has something to do with the default security or privacy settings in Vista.
I would appreciate any thoughts...

https://www.accountonline.com/View?docId=Index&siteId=AC&langId=EN does the same thing. Accesses fine in XP.
I think I may have found a lead. See "A painful Vista networking bug | Ed Bott's Microsoft Report | ZDNet.com" http://blogs.zdnet.com/Bott/?p=10. I am going to look at using another router and see if that solves the issue.
